Belden 89259, -the signal cable who has been a favorite among international audiophiles for the last year, many people mean that this is one of the best all round cables available and is often compared to cables that costs over 1.000$ !
The cable have a coaxial design with center conductor and shield in high quality copper, the dielectric is foamed Teflon© and even the exterior is Teflon©. Temperature specification is 200'C so there is no risk to destroy the cable specifications when you solder connectors to the cable.
The cable works fine in all positions in your set up, CD-preamp, phono-preamp. or preamp-poweramp.
I normally not quote technical data but in this case it is interesting because they are exceptional in many ways:
- Damping: 9.8 dB/100m (@ 100MHz)
Capacitance: 56pF/m
DC resistance: 49 ohm/km res. 8.5 ohm/km
Shield coverage: 95%

-The cables are 0.75 meters long, the connectors have a stable casing made of non magnetic aluminum alloy, the isolation is Teflon© and the contact surface is of course gold plated. The center conductor is soldered with 4% silver solder and the shield is connected in a kind of "crimp" connection.
